The team from ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa placed the First Runner up at Prof V.K. Samaranayake Inter-¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ Quiz Competition in Stat Day 2012 organized by the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Science, ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Colombo in June 2012. The participants: Fernando I.D., Chamain H.G.L.D., Mallawarachchi K.S. and Malavipathirana H.H. were from Semester 1/ Level 1 and the lecturer-in-charge was Mrs Ravindi Jayasundara in the department of Mathematics.
