Congratulations to Dr. YWR Amarasinghe who has been promoted to Professor, with effect from 12th December 2019. Prof. Amarasinghe received the B.Sc. Eng. (Hons) degree from the ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa in Mechanical Engineering, and the M.Sc and the Ph.D. degrees from Ritsumeikan ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ Japan in Information Science and Systems Engineering, and Micro/Nano Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS/NEMS), respectively. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering of ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa in April 2011. His research work focuses on robotics, mechatronics, automation, and MEMS/NEMS.
