The Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Directors (CVCD) introduced in 2006 a scheme of awards called��“CVCD��Excellence Awards” to be awarded once in two years to recognize, appreciate and honor the outstanding contributions and accomplishments in research, innovation and invention by the staff in the �������߿� system.

A team composing academics and students of the �������߿� of��Wollongong��(UOW) led by Dr. Brad��Stappenbelt��and Dr. Tom Goldfinch met the Vice Chancellor Professor��Ananda��Jayewardane��and the team from the �������߿� of��Moratuwa��on July 10, 2014 at the �������߿� of��Moratuwa.

Hon Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Minister of Technology and Research visited the �������߿� of Moratuwa together with the Secretary to the Ministry, Adviser to the Hon Minister and Chairperson of NASTEC to discuss the way forward of implementing the Ministry’s 3T, 5-years R & D Investment Framework, on August 12, 2014.
