The DAAD (Deutscher ÌýAcademischer ÌýAustausch Dienst, German ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ Exchange Service) Ìýis the world's largest funding organization for the international exchange of students & researchers which consist of regional offices funding for exchange programs all over the world. Dr. Manjula Mundakana, Senior Adviser for Consulate General for Germany in Bangalore, India and Mr. Jorn Rohde, German Ambassador for Sri Lanka, visited ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa on 08thÌýMarch 2017 as representatives of DAAD.

Delegates from Lahore ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan visit ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa

Dr. Jawad Syed, the Dean &ÌýProfessor of Suleman Dawood School of Business ,Lahore ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan visited ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa (UOM) on 10thÌýMarch 2017 as a part of their international expansion strategy to network with academic institutions and to enroll Sri Lankan students to MBA programs of LUMS under full scholarships funded by Asian Development Bank. LUMS is keen on building partnerships in the areas of research collaborations, faculty collaborations and other forms of partnerships. Prof. Han Baokun, Vice Dean of College of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Prof. Chen Qingguang, Director of Department of Mechanotronics and Prof. Yang Jurru, Director of ÌýDepartment of Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering, Shangdon ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of China visited ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa on 25thÌýApril 2017 and discussed matters related to staff and student exchange programs, joint research programs and research center concept on mechatronics.
