Craig H. Blakely, PhD, MPH, Dean, School of Public Health and Information Sciences at the ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Louisville (UoFL), United States visited UOM on 16th May 2017. The potential programs of UoFL for discussion were suggested as MSc Clinical Investigative Science, MS Biostatistics, MPH Concentration in Environmental / Community Health, PhD and Joint Research Projects.

Dr. Anura Rathnayake, the avant-garde Sri Lankan scientist who is a quality product of the ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa, was able to win the 3rdÌýplace at the ‘Global Change Award’ organized annually by the H&M foundation with his revolutionary innovation ‘Content Thread’, which facilitates sorting and recycling of clothes using a digital filament.

Prof. Sarath Perera, the Technical Director of the Australian power Quality and Reliability Centre (APQRC), Dr. Duane Robinson, the Deputy Director of the Sustainable Buildings Research Centre (SBRC), Dr. Ashish Agalgaonkar, Australian power Quality and Reliability Centre visited ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa (UoM) on 07thÌýJuly 2017.
