Dr. Janaka Wijesundara, FIA (SL), MITP (SL), MCIP - Course Director

Dr. Wijesundara is an architect, town planner, urban designer and conservator. He has obtained a PhD from the ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Aachen in Germany, and Post Graduate Diploma in Architectural Conservation, Masters Degree in Architecture and bachelors Degree in Built Environment from the ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa. He is a Fellow member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects and a Corporate Member of Town Planners Institute of Sri Lanka. He is also a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and was a member of the Municipal Urban Designers group of Ontario in Canada.

Research Interest:ÌýSustainable urban design, urban and community planning, place, urban architecture and cultural identity, urban generation, ancient Planning and urban design in south Asia

Archt. Janaka Dharmasena,ÌýAIA (SL)

Archt. Janaka Dharmasena is an architect and urban designer. He has obtained a Masters Degree in Architecture and bachelors Degree in Built Environment from the ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa and Masters in urban design from the ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of New South Wales in Australia. He is an associate member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects.

Research Interest:ÌýRebuilding community, digital architecture, City identity, city design and disaster management

Archt. Amanda Rajapakshe, AIA (SL)Ìý

Archt. Amanda Rajapakshe is an architect and she has obtained a Masters Degree in Architecture and bachelors Degree in Built Environment from the ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa and Master of Arts degree from ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Singapore. She is an associate member of Sri Lanka Institute of Architects.
