¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa Alumnus Prof Saman Halgamuge admitted to the Fellowship of IEEE

Prof. Saman Halgamuge, an alumnus of ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa is one of the three Sri Lankans recognised by IEEE as Fellows of the Society from January 2017. The other two Sri Lankans are Prof Nallanathan Arumugam of Kings College London and Prof Janaka Ekanayake of ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Peradeniya.

Japanese delegates from Toyohashi university of technology visited ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa

Japanese delegates from Toyohashi ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of technology visited ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa on 16.12.2016 and discussed about interested areas of both parties. They delivered a descriptive presentation on their university which is one of the state university ranked within the top 14 out of 86 National universities in Japan. According to them, as it is a national university, scholarships and very reasonable tuition fees are there. They have informed that those who are interested can apply through the university.

UK Delegate Visits ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa

Ms. Rachel Dodd, the Executive Officer International, Queen Mary ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of London (QMUL) visited ¸£ÀûÔÚÏß¿´ of Moratuwa (UoM) on 31stÌýÌýJanuary 2017. QMUL is keen to have Ìýa collaboration with UOM on Research, Double degree programs, Split degree programs and Staff and Student exchange programs. At present, QMUL Ìýis conducting joint programs with countries like China, France and India.
