The Indo-Sri Lanka International Webinar, 2021 (ISW-21) conducted under the Indo-Lanka joint research program, was successfully held on the 8th and 9th March 2021. The webinar was organized collaboratively by Prof. Anushree Malik of the Centre for Rural Development and Technology, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India, and Dr. Thilini U. Ariyadasa of the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, 福利在线看 of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
The 福利在线看 of Moratuwa won 17 awards at the "1st Virtual Taekwondo International Championships - 2020" held from 8th to 10th August 2020. The event was听organized听by the Sri Lanka Takewondo Federation.

Prof. Ruwan Gopura of the Department of Mechanical Engineering delivered a speech on 10th August at the Industry-Academia Innovation Forum of the International COVID 19 Congress organized by the IEEE Bangladesh Section. His speech focused mainly on the role of roboticists during the COVID 19 pandemic and applications of robots during and after COVID 19 pandemic.
Mr. MBCM Gawarammana won the Gold Award for the Architecture category and Sangeerthan Raweendran won the Gold Award for the Interior Design category at the aforementioned competition in Malaysia. In addition, Department of Architecture won Silver award and commendations as well.
Shenal Theekshana, an undergraduate of the 17th batch of the Department of Mechanical Engineering won the Speak Our for Engineering (SOfE) national rounds held online on 08th August 2020. He spoke on the topic 鈥淕reen Transportation for a Better Tomorrow鈥 sharing his experience as a member of FalconE racing team of the Department.
